Privacy Policy

This document describes what data MyPathOS collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please contact support.

What we collect

• Birth information (date, time, location) that you enter to generate a chart. This is the minimum data needed to compute Bazi and Zi Wei Dou Shu charts. It is stored against your account if you sign in.
• Account data (email, display name) if you create an account via email, Google, or remain anonymous. Anonymous accounts persist for the lifetime of the browser session unless explicitly upgraded.
• Usage data (which features you use, request counts) for rate limiting, billing, and abuse prevention. We do not sell this data.
• Payment data is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We store a Stripe customer ID to reconcile your subscription.

What we don't collect

We don't run third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. We don't share your chart data with anyone outside the AI inference path described below.

AI processing

To generate interpretations, we send your chart data and your questions to Google's Gemini API. Google's Generative Language API terms govern how that data is handled. We do not train any AI on your data.

Your rights

• Access: You can export your data via Profile → Export Data.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data via Profile → Delete Account. Stripe subscription cancellation is automatic.
• Correction: You can edit your display name and birth information via Profile.
• Contact: For any other requests, reach us via the contact page.

Data retention

Charts and account data persist while your account is active. Anonymous chart calculations expire after 24 hours. Deleted account data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a small set of essential cookies for authentication and language preference. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Children

MyPathOS is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify active users via email.
